As a member of our Sixth Form, students choose to study from a wide choice of subjects and take advantage of our unique and bespoke curriculum. Sixth Formers are treated as individuals and participate in a wide-ranging enrichment programme from the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme to Gym membership, driving lessons to individual support for personal statements and UCAS entries, all of which facilitates their personal development.
A tailored Sixth Form curriculum
To study A Levels at Sackville a student needs to gain at least five Grade 4 passes, with a minimum of a Grade 5 in the subject to be taken. There are a few exceptions to note:
- a Grade 6 is required to study a Science
- a Grade 7 is required to study Maths, French or Spanish
- a Grade 8 to study is required to study Further Maths.
However, this is not prescriptive and consideration will be given to a student who can demonstrate the ability and maturity to cope with the A Level courses here.
There is no formal school uniform for the Sixth Form, but rather our dress code is based on business principles to recognise our students’ growing maturity.
